Abstract

This article discusses how to correct placement of FACTS devices in the network using the IEEE standard PSO algorithm shows. In order to reduce losses and improve voltage profile in the network equipment is a static model to model equipped FACTS devices have been used. A suitable place to install the equipment and also to reduce losses and improve voltage profiles before and after the equipment is installed. The tested three types of devices used in the optimal location and size in order to increase the efficiency of the system is the objectives set out in the buses.
